My Client are a leading Civils and Groundworks Contractor in Essex, specialising in Civil Engineering and Groundworks. They work alongside a host of house-builders and support a variety of other industries throughout East Anglia and Essex.
They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team, working across projects in Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk.
The Candidate will be based at their Head Office in Essex, together with travelling to sites.

Experience
The candidate should have extensive experience within the Civils & Groundworks Sector.
The successful applicant will work within the project delivery team to help deliver live projects being undertaken for their various clients. You will be working closely with both the commercial and preconstruction teams. You will be heavily client focused working closely with them and building strong relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Take responsibility for project planning and delivery using Asta Software.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Including H&S, On site operations, producing and ensuring that programme targets are achieved, production of RAMS for site specific operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify contract requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in contract management.
- Good man management and communication skills with an eye for detail is an essential aspect of this role.
Skills:
- Previous experience of managing at a senior level.
- Working knowledge of programming and project planning.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Proficient in contract management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary
The salary on offer for this role is £80k-£95k plus package, depending upon previous experience.
